Description:

The Trane VAL8634 is a Thermostatic Expansion Valve that includes mechanical fittings for support and easy installation. Used to regulate R410 refrigerant to be injected into the refrigeration system. The unit has a nominal capacity of 5-ton. A Thermostatic Expansion Valve can always be found before the evaporator of a refrigeration system. The valve controls how much refrigerant can pass into the evaporator. The valve decreases the pressure to allow the refrigerant to boil at lower temperatures.
