Commercial Generators
Having to interrupt your work and decrease your productivity for an electrical issue that's beyond your control is incredibly frustrating—not to mention costly. That's why commercial and industrial generators are so important within warehouses, offices, and other facilities. These organizations keep commercial generators on hand for backup in case of a power outage or other emergency. Some industries and job sites rely on them exclusively—a construction site doesn't always have access to electrical outlets, for example.
There are two primary types of generators: portable generators and power take off (PTO) generators. Each has its unique advantages, and they're both used in the agricultural, mining, and construction industries, among others. We carry Winco commercial portable generators in a variety of models, with watts ranging from 2,400 to 19,000. When choosing your generator, your biggest considerations are which appliances and tools you need to power (and how many watts those items require) and what type of fuel you prefer. There are commercial diesel generators, gas generators, and bi- and tri-fuel generators. Bi-fuel models can transition between natural gas and gasoline, while tri-fuel generators can run on natural gas, gasoline, and LP. The engines are built by trusted names like Honda, Briggs and Stratton, and Kohler.
