Lochinvar Gas Valve The 100172006 is a replacement gas valve designed for use on Lochinvar furnace systems. The valve operates at 24-volts and has a 3/4” pipe inlet. One of the most common issues with a boiler or furnace shut down is a malfunctioning gas valve. The area around the gas valve should be examined to insure no dust or debris is causing a failure. If the valve is completely shut down a replacement may be necessary. As always such diagnostics should be done on site but a license technician. Depending upon the location of the valve in your system, replacing a Lochinvar boiler gas valve, or furnace gas valve can be an easy install.
