This Kerick SR06 stainless steel rod is 1/4" in diameter and 6" long. It is made of 18-8 stainless steel for resistance to corrosion and has 1/4"-20 male threads on each end. It is intended for use with 3/8" and 1/2" inlet float valves and 4 x 5" or 2 x 2 x 4" float balls (sold separately). As part of a float valve installation, it is suitable for use in a variety of applications, such as fountains, livestock water tanks, and chemical manufacturing plants.Float valves use a rod and float ball attached to a valve shutoff lever to control flow in or out of a tank.
