This new, innovative design uses an internal pressure differential to actuate the modulation assembly signifi cantly reducing the power required to modulate the valve. It also minimizes the expansion volume created during full-load operation which ultimately improves full-load performance by 1.5-5.5 percent. As a result, the next generation Copeland Scroll UltraTech compressor offers contractors a solution that not only provides better performance, but also provides a more reliable product due to the inherently simpler design.
