Users are assured of an ideal heat source for freeze protection or comfort heat in non-hazardous, dirty and corrosive areas such as waste water treatment plants, ships, factories, coal handling areas, food processing plants, foundries, steel mills, cement plants, car washes, swimming pool areas, canneries and dairies and construction sites.
 
QWD Series - Washdown Corrosion-Resistant Unit Heater Features:
- Heater offers corrosion protection in harsh environments with ability to be hosed down for cleaning.
- ETL listed and designed to be moisture and corrosion resistant.
- A sturdy Type 304 stainless steel cabinet extends the life of the heater and provides rust-resistance. 
- The cabinet also surrounds 316 industrial stainless steel finned tubular elements for improved heat distribution.
- The motor is a totally enclosed, permanently lubricated, ball bearing type which is epoxy painted for moisture and corrosion resistance.
- The junction box (rated NEMA 4X) protects against water and dust and houses the built-in controls and element terminals.
- Automatic temperature high limit automatically resets thermal limit if temperature gets too high.
- 24V controls improves safety with remote thermostat.
- 14-gauge Stainless Steel wall/ceiling bracket provides multiple options for mounting.
- Factory Installed Options include: Built-in or remote thermostat, pilot light, mode/selector switch, disconnect switch, manual reset, epoxy coating and 120 VAC controls.  Accessories are Factory Installed Only.
