- Natural Gas Orifice Size 0.026 inch (0.66 mm).
- Maximum Temperature 2200 Degree F (1204 Degree C).

- Target Wingspan 1 inch (25 mm).
- Electrode Insulator Ceramic.
- Inlet Fittings 1/4 Inch compression coupling.
- Gas Type Natural Gas (order LP orifice separately for LP Gas).
- Approval UL Recognized.
 
Features:
- Primary aerated type pilot burner with a stainless steel target to stabilize the flame and provide the proper flame electrode (rod) area to ground area ratio to generate an optimum flame signal.
- High temperature Kanthal electrode(s) are mounted in ceramic insulators.
- Side or end mounting brackets available.
- Dual and single wing burner targets available.
- Flame electrode (rod) ignition electrode and insulators are factory positioned and adjusted for proper operation. Field adjustments are not required.

The Honeywell Q179C1009 is a Gas Pilot Burner Assembly. The assembly consists of an ignition electrode, flame electrode, 0.026" (0.66mm) natural gas orifice, 1/4" compression coupling gas fitting, and rear mounting bracket. Mainly used for flame proving on industrial or commercial oil burners that require interrupted or intermittent spark-ignited gas pilots.
 
The Q179C Miniature Rectifier Pilot is known as a primary aerated type of pilot burner. It features a stainless steel D tip dual-wing target for flame stabilization and is equipped with an electrode that allows proper flame ground area. Two types of gas can be used, either Natural Gas or LP Gas. LP orifice (388146KD) is required if utilizing LP Gas.
 
Installation of the assembly should be done by a professional technician. Two mounting holes are provided to easily mount the gas pilot. Before installing, check out the user guide sheet for precautionary measures.
