Improve compressor efficiency with easy-to-install Hard Start kits from Hartland Controls. Hard Starts allow A/C units and heat pump compressors to start-up at maximum efficiency, so the unit can reach normal rated speed up to ten times faster. Hard Starts are also useful in difficult conditions such as low voltage or undersized wiring, and reduce light dimming during compressor start-up. Eliminate the heat surge that typically occurs at start-up, and help extend the life of the compressor, terminals, windings and capacitor.
