Application and Dosage

The recommended ‘in use’ concentration of the product is 1%. Fernox FC1 Filter Fluid+ Inhibitor can be introduced via a suitable dosing point. Once the Fernox FC1 Filter Fluid + Inhibitor is added to the system and allowed to circulate and mix thoroughly, the inhibitor level can be checked using a Fernox System Health Check to ensure optimum system protection. Fernox FC1 Filter Fluid+ Inhibitor is designed to work in tandem with an in-line system filter and has been specifically developed for light or moderately contaminated systems or in circumstances where a comprehensive system clean may not be feasible or practical. In the case of untreated, heavily sludged systems, Fernox advises, where and when possible, the system is thoroughly cleaned and flushed using Fernox FC3 Cleaner before treating with Fernox FC1 Inhibitor/ FC1 Filter Fluid+ Inhibitor when used in combination with a system filter. FC1 Filter Fluid+ Inhibitor should only be used when a Fernox TF1 Delta Filter or other system filter are installed.

Fernox FC1 Filter Fluid+ Inhibitor is supplied in 5 gallons containers. Fernox FC1 Filter Fluid+ Inhibitor is classified as non-hazardous, but as with all chemicals: Keep out of reach of children. Do not mix with other chemicals. Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one. May produce an allergic reaction.
