The Ebac RM40 is a compact, stand-alone dehumidifier designed to deliver quiet, maintenance-free humidity control in residential and industrial environments. Built with a rugged rotationally molded housing and galvanized steel subframe, it is engineered for durability in demanding conditions while remaining portable with integrated handles and castors. The unit removes moisture using an energy-efficient refrigeration process with hot gas defrost for effective low-temperature operation, and features an adjustable electronic humidistat, OLED display, and automatic shutoff when the desired humidity level is reached or the internal water container is full. Typical extraction is up to 24 pints per day, making it suitable for basements, warehouses, storage areas, and restoration applications.
