Berko Electric Ceiling Heater (FFCH548)
The Berko electric ceiling heater provides powerful, efficient warmth for commercial spaces. This Berko FFCH-series model offers flexible installation (surface or recessed mounting enclosure is required), adjustable airflow patterns (wide, narrow, or asymmetrical) for targeted or broad heating, and optional relays for integration into central building management systems.
Berko FFCH-Series Heater Features:
- Commercial down-flow heater for ceilings
- Recessed or surface installation *This is heater deck only - requires surface or recess mount enclosure*
- 3 adjustable airflow patterns (wide, narrow, asymmetrical) to accommodate different ceiling heights and room layouts
- Included thumb pins allow for easy installation
- Automatic fan delay eliminates cold drafts on start-up and discharges residual heat from the heater body during shutdown
- Automatic thermal cutout shuts off the heater in the event of overheating and reactivates when the temperature returns to normal
- Heat deck ONLY. Enclosures sold separately.
- If replacing a heat deck built before May 2018, you must order retrofit kit 500RFK.

Generally, the fan will run for 30 to 90 seconds, depending on internal temperature, to prevent heat from being trapped inside the unit.

This unit can be wired for both single-phase and three-phase operation, depending on the building’s electrical system configuration.
