The Bell & Gossett 115113 is the DA-3X Suction Diffuser Plus, an angle-pattern straightening fitting with 3-inch NPT (system side) inlet and 1-1/2-inch NPT outlet connections. This device is specifically designed for installation on the suction side of centrifugal pumps in hydronic heating, cooling, domestic water, and industrial fluid systems to ensure optimal pump performance, minimize required straight pipe lengths upstream, prevent cavitation, improve efficiency and longevity, and enhance overall system reliability in commercial and industrial HVAC and pumping applications.
