The TRIO-16 and TRIO-20 induct air purification systems keeps air in the home fresh, clean, and pure. As air enters the TRIO, it is filtered with a MERV 13 media air filter cartridge. This pleated 4-inch filter traps particles as small as .3 micron including mold, bacteria, dust, dander, and pollen. After the filter, the air passes through UVC lamp. This treatment zone is powered by two high-efficiency 24-inch UVC lamps that reduce airborne germs, bacteria, viruses, mold, and fungi. The final phase uses patented PRO-Cell technology, our exclusive Photo-Reactive Oxidation process. When the patented titanium dioxide coated catalytic aluminum substrate is exposed to the UVC light, the PRO-Cell’s extensive surface area transforms odors and VOCs into harmless, odorless water vapor and carbon dioxide.
